The private onsen was a great experience, best soak in a hot bath I've ever had. The staff were welcoming and always friendly. The meals were delicious and we had our own private dining room for breakfast and dinner. The amenities were fully stocked and made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay.
We had to take a cab to get to the hotel and wished there was a shuttle service available to pick up arriving guests. there wasn't much to see or do close by, but we were able to enjoy the hotel's indoor and outdoor baths.

Absolutely nothing.

This cozy ryokan offers great service and well-maintained rooms. Located near the tourist information center, you can easily access the hills and waterfront area by foot. The traditional Japanese rooms are comfortable and clean, offering a perfect respite after a day of exploring. The onsen facilities are excellent, providing both indoor and outdoor baths overlooking a scenic platform. The delicious breakfast served in the morning is a must-try!
Lack of privacy in the rooftop onsen can be an issue for some guests.

Great experience! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot springs were fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service and their food was delicious. The hotel was in a beautiful location and there were plenty of activities to do around. Also, their breakfast was excellent.
The distance from the station was a bit far and their wifi didn't work in all areas of the hotel.
